Fundraising campaign for a social centre destroyed by the Israeli Army

Today ISM London launches an appeal to raise money for the Bilal Al Najjar cultural centre in Burin village, Nablus.

The centre has been attacked several times by the Israeli Army which has:

*  Destroyed the front door
*  Sabotaged six newly fixed computers (all hard drives removed)
*  Ripped out and stolen electricity cables
*  Broken windows, the telephone, the scanner and the printer
*  Damaged the filing cabinet
*  Ripped Palestinian flags
*  Smashed chairs and other furniture

The latest night-raid destroyed the last remaining computers and equipment.

The cultural centre in Burin is an integral part of the community. Since 2007 volunteers have strived to provide projects that not only serve the local community but also give the youth of Burin a sanctuary. A place that is theirs, where they can work, learn, plan communal activities and unite.

Since the night time raids by the Israeli Army the Centre has been closed.

ISM London appeals for funds to buy new laptops and general equipment to help get the centre back on its feet. The people of Burin and Ism London would be very grateful for your donations, however big or small. If you would like to make a donation please follow the instructions below:
